“I love Bruno Pelletier” – Josh Groban

Josh Groban, who covers “Le temps des cathédrales” on his latest album, has only the best to say about the original singer of the song, Bruno Pelletier.

“He’s one of my favorite singers, I’m a huge fan,” Josh said in an interview for the Journal de Montréal.  The album, “Stages,” released this past April, is a compilation of songs from musicals.  Josh covers famous songs like “All I Ask of You,” “Over the Rainbow” from “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Le temps des cathédrales,” from the France-Québec coproduction, “Notre-Dame de Paris.”

The latter is performed in its original French version.  “It’s the third time I’ve recorded in France,” explains the woman who speaks a little of the language of Molière.  “I wanted this album to represent musical theater throughout the world, not only Broadway or West End,” he explains, mentioning his friendship with Luc Plamondon.

With 25 million albums sold throughout the world, Josh Groban is one of the most popular singers of his time.
