Bruno Pelletier in concert at Saint-Gabriel

Fundraising event for the church.

All for one.  The strong voice of Bruno Pelletier will build solidarity towards the church of Saint-Gabriel on Saturday, October 4.  The artist will hold a concert there at 8:00pm in order to collect funds for building upkeep.

In Saint-Gabriel, the tickets ($48) are available at the Familiprix pharmacy, at Métro Bourgeault, at the main till of Desjardins de Brandon, at the Tourist Information Office, as well as at La Fabrique.  One can also find them at the campsite La Baie de Mandeville.  In Joliette, head to the Librairie Martin or to Monsieur Muffler.

Warm up your heart

Knowing that the church is the most captivating part of the revitalization of the center of Brandon, the “Celebration Chorus” committee is organizing this event with pride.  It concerns the fifth large-bodied show presented since the 100th anniversary of the church.

“It is with pleasure and enthusiasm that we support La Fabrique’s excellent initiative in order to help it pursue its social mission close to the citizens of Saint-Gabriel,” Melissa Champoux, Christian Gagnon, et Jean-Philippe Brissette, pharmacist owners of the Familiprix pharmacy, note.  The establishment is the host of the show.

They add that, present in the Brandon region for more than 50 years, the pharmacy has always contributed in supporting the social organizations in the area.  “The presentation of the fundraising event records in the continuity of this tradition of the social implication of our enterprise,” they explain.

“Brandon has the chance to possess a quality amphitheater and it is vital to do everything in our power in order to preserve this magnificent building that is the church,” says Stéphane Guillemette, president of GCIA events.  The enterprise is a partner for the running of this event.

Confirming that the church is an important part of the Saint-Gabriel estate, Manon Rainville, mayor of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, emphasizes the importance of the event.

“Our church has been a part of our municipality and the life of our citizens for a good number of years.  It is of great importance to conserve it.  This is why the municipality of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon is proud to contribute to this event,” she declares.

Her colleague from the town Saint-Gabriel takes the same stance.  “It is important for the center validation to be able to benefit events such as this one, worthy of large centers.  Such satisfaction for a mayor to see so much perseverance and efforts made by a team that believes in our town and in its development,” Gaéton Gravel affirms.

A rendezvous you can’t miss.
